Tedy’s Team surpasses $10M in community support since 2005 inception

In the Community

Thanks to the generous support of our community over the last 19 years, Tedy’s Team has raised more than $10 million in the fight against stroke and heart disease.

This incredible milestone has provided us with many opportunities to not only raise awareness of stroke and heart disease, but also to fund lifesaving research and education, survivor and caregiver support, and much more.

Since our inception, Tedy’s Team has worked hard to support stroke and heart survivors, and their families, on their comeback journeys. In late 2018, we became our own 501©3 in Massachusetts. Over the last 6 years, we have made huge strides in this area by creating a financial assistance program called the Comeback Assistance Program, through our partnership with the MGH Institute of Health Professions to create the Tedy’s Team Center of Excellence in Stroke Recovery, and more recently in our support of the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in Chicago.

In addition to our newer programs and partnerships, we have funded many research projects to help make an impact in the fight against stroke and heart disease through our collaboration with the American Heart Association and MGH.

As we continue to grow as an organization, we look forward to also continuing to grow our support locally and across the country so that we can help as may survivors as possible achieve their comeback.

Thank you to all our runners, donors, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters who have helped us achieve this milestone. Without you, this would not be possible.
