Our travel races are a great way to see the country, raise vital funds for stroke and heart disease and live an active lifestyle. Many of our travel events that we participate in have multiple distances – 5k, 10k, 10 miler, half marathon and full marathon – so there is something for everyone.
Fundraising requirements for these races vary race to race, but all include the following unless stated otherwise:
- Hotel accommodations for runner (joint room with another runner- solo room is available for extra fee)
- Airfare for runner (when applicable)
- Transportation to and from the race (where applicable)
- Team singlet
- Team swag
- Fundraising website
- Goal planning meetings/calls
- Race registration
- Team pre-race dinner
Our 2019 Travel race is Duke City Marathon weekend in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Ranked as one of the top 25 marathons in the world, this is New Mexico’s premiere racing event. Distance options include: 5k walk, 5k run, 10k walk, 10k run, half marathon and full marathon. This course is flat and fast and also a Boston Qualifier.
At this time, our Duke City Marathon team has been filled.
